The #AskGaryVee Show
Gary Vaynerchuk is the hustle-driven social media guru, exploding with energy and a raw approach towards business. The #AskGaryVee show answers the public's questions about marketing, social media, and entrepreneurship that are tweeted in. Gary is known for being very active on his accounts, it's not unusual to get a Tweet, Facebook reply or even a direct Snapchat video, so don't be shy to ask him your questions!
He also released a print version called the #AskGaryVee Book, which is terrific. It summarises all the best questions and answers into different organised chapters. The type of book you can pick up and open at any page for inspiration and advice. A sound investment!
StartUp is a podcast series about what it’s really like to get a business off the ground. Rather than all the overnight success stories and exciting media appearances, this is a transparent view into what actually happens. Startup founders ourselves, we really enjoyed listening to this and it's great to have someone document the raw journey!
In Season 1, Alex Blumberg told the story of launching this business, Gimlet Media, a podcast network. In Season 2, Lisa Chow joined Alex to follow an entirely new company: a company called Dating Ring, founded by two women in their 20s, outsiders in the male-dominated world of Silicon Valley. Now in Season 3, they're telling stories about many companies, following prisoners, tailors, smugglers, and tech geeks. And these founders all have something in common: their companies are stuck, and they know they need to make a big change. But they have no idea what to change, or whether it will bring the end of the company, or a whole new beginning.
Dramatic, realistic and exciting. Definitely worth listening to!
